The Peristeen Plus Accessory Unit contains:
15 SMALL rectal balloon catheters
1 water bag with water temperature indicator (excl. screw top)*
The Peristeen Plus rectal balloon catheter is available in two sizes: Regular (also referred to as Standard) and Small.The catheter is for single use only. Therefore, use a new catheter each time you irrigate. The catheter is pre-coated for smooth, easy insertion and has an inflatable balloon, which sits inside the rectum during irrigation, so you don’t have to worry about holding the catheter in place.
The Peristeen Plus water bag has a water temperature indicator on the front. The water temperature indicator helps to guide the user on the suitable water temperature range for irrigation. When the indicator is blue, the water is too cold; when it’s red, the water is too hot. Green suggests you can proceed with the irrigation.
The water bag can be used a maximum of 15 times. It is designed to stand on the floor and can easily be easily moved around by using the large handle.
*Please keep the screw top of the water bag that you receive with your system, as it is not provided in the Peristeen Plus Accessory unit.
